WHITEWOOD for joinery
We import and supply sawn and planed wide whitewood for bespoke joinery, shelving and stair manufacturing.
Large logs are selected at the sawmill for quality before being sawn into wide boards.
The boards are carefully kilned to minimise cracking before being machined.
The wide boards are then
planed square cornered or
nosed & grooved, packaged and wrapped ready for shipment to
R H Wilson (Lakes).
When the wide whitewood boards arrive at Kirkby Stephen, we further grade
and select the pieces ready for making into orders.
We can supply 80% 4.2m &/or longer.
The boards are 38mm thick (32mm after planing) and available in widths:
225(220 finish size), 250(245) and 275(270)mm.
