Timber> Redwood & Whitewood for Joinery
We at R H Wilson (Lakes) Limited have extensive experience of importing timber from Scandinavian & Russian sawmills.
All the timber is kiln dried at the sawmill and protected during transportation. We sell the timber, direct ex the docks or through our yard at Tebay, Nr Kendal, in full packs, part packs or in individual pieces.
We import the traditional grades of redwood and whitewood in unsorted, 5ths, sideboards, listboards and schaalboards.
We grade redwood for specific end use, which helps our customers to reduce waste and the necessity to hold large stocks. We produce our unique grade 1 Redwood for high quality joinery manufactures and timber merchants requiring only the best. Each piece is individually graded and end stamped - this grade needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Each piece of grade 1, when produced for timber merchants, can be individually stamped with their own identification and grade - an excellent marketing tool.
We cut centre and shake free sections for joinery, laminating and turning.
We have the ability to re-saw, x-cut and plane timber to our customer's exact requirements.
We hold substantial stocks of most sizes and grades of Redwood. These are available for immediate delivery throughout the UK. Should you require a non-standard size, this can be produced for you.
We also hold stocks of wide whitewood for staircase manufacturers.
